    Update on Opal...

The test results came back and Opal has "a bad UTI", as Dr. Wanda had said. She was on 14 days of antibiotics and I picked up another 14 days of meds today.

Opal is doing much better and not peeing as often, nor is straining to pee. We just love this girl, she's such a little trooper.

Thanks for all your well wishes, they definitely help!

    Another update on Opal.

We re-did another pee sample and there were still a few white cells, so Dr. Wanda put Opal on 1 more week of antibiotics - we have 2 days left - YAY. Otherwise, Opal is more perky and comfortable.

We got hit with a big snow storm past Tuesday and even at 13 years old Opal ploughs through the snowdrifts like a youngster. Still a little wobbly from her stroke, but she's such a trooper. Have I said how much I love this girl?
