I'm so sorry to hear this. It's so hard to see our family members get to this point...hard to know what's best to do for them. If you think she's in pain or afraid all the time....that's when I start thinking it's decision-making time.
I'm feeling pretty down. I feel like the end is near. She is 14.5 years old, and she is looking so fraile. She is having trouble standing. Every morning I have to lift her onto her paws for her to get up, mornings are the hardest, but lately, she can't sit up on her own at any time. She struggles going down the ramp and sometimes doesn't make it off the patio before she is going. Many times she is wetting herself while laying down because she won't get up to go outside. She is on Galliprant and Proin, she also takes glucosamine vitamins. I don't know what else to do for her. Today, i didn't see her wag her tail, not once! No tail thumping I gave her treats and she took them, she ate her meals. She doesn't hear us calling her, even if we are standing next to her. We have to tap her and make hand gestures, if she tries to get up we help her, otherwise we let her be.

I'm so sorry....it's so hard to see them get old and start to decline..
I always say quality of life is more important than quantity.
Sending love and prayers to your sweet Leeloo...
So sorry to see this. Watching them grow old is so difficult, especially when they get to the point Leeloo is now. I've had to make thins decision more times than I care to think about, and it doesn't get any easier. For me it comes to quality of life, and then helping them pass with dignity. I feel letting them go is the ultimate act of love.
I'm so sorry. Hugs to you and Leeloo.

Sorry to hear this about LeeLoo. It is a hard time for sure.
Sending good thoughts your way while you deal with this difficult time. It sounds like you are doing all you can. Another thought may be a round of prednisone (with a washout period from Galliprant).
LeeLoo's pic looks a little like Tanner. Tanner would have been 16 yesterday. Where did the time go? It's been 3 1/2 years since he passed. In the end, there were many signs, not the least of which was his decrease in appetite and major mobility issues. I knew it was time as he was not happy.

So hard when they get old. Her getting to 14.5 years old pays testament to the loving care you have given her.
As said above, it's about quality of life. We home senior labs and this time of life is very difficult. My hugs to you and LeeLoo.
