Daisy staying overnight at the e-vet

Hey all, she’s doing better! The improvement is very slow but we’re seeing some small signs of improvement. She ate part of a left over New York strip on Sunday, some canned chicken, and the tiniest bit of kibble. Surprisingly, kibble is the only thing we’ve been consistently able to get her to eat. I just bought a higher calorie formula of Earthborn today to give her. She ate about a cup of food yesterday, plus a little bit of goats milk. This morning she ate another quarter cup of kibble. She’s also drinking plenty of water. This morning she finally pooped after not going for several days.

The vet prescribed Entyce as an appetite stimulant but it made her foam at the mouth then drool excessively and she seemed out of it both times I gave it to her. Saturday night, her breaths were short and shallow. Not sure if it’s related to the Entyce but we’ve discontinued that and started her on some CBD oil which our vet agreed was ok to give her. I think it’s helping.

She seems more alert but still spends a lot of time resting. Not much tail wagging but she did make a loud bark at the roofer yesterday. Baby steps.

Thanks for checking in on her.
