    Side effect of pneumonia treatments.

Nikki is on massive daily doses of Clavamox for her pneumonia. 1000 mg a day for at least a month. She also has a personal humidifier next to her crate (preferred sleeping spot) and an air purifier in case her allergies kick up.

Weird side effect - a week or so ago, I noticed that she can hear. I was convinced that she was stone deaf. Now I'm thinking she had an infection deep down in her ear canals. Very interesting. She's also been unusually spunky.

She's running around again. This is an intense experience. I seriously thought we were looking at the end last month then she started collapsing. I'm not taking this lightly but it was "just" pneumonia. And we ran ALL the tests.

Sometimes the progression is so slow it's hard to notice the day to day changes. So glad she's feeling better.
