Prayers said for Midnight, your family and his medical team last night and this morning. Will check for updates later but I just know they will be positive!

Paws crossed for you that all goes well and Midnight does not have to keep his back legs crossed after.

    Mid-Surgery Update

Smooth drive up to Ft. Collins this morning in our '96 Cherokee (the dogs' car). Beat the rush hour traffic. Stopped a couple times to let the boy out to pee and stretch his legs. Checked in right on time and met with the surgeon for paperwork and a final verbal run-through. They really take good care of both pets and owners here at CSU. Then we walked Midnight back and handed him off to the surgeon and went for a drive in the surrounding country. Beautiful part of Colorado here and it has been a few years since we have been up this way. Anywhich, the Surgical Assistant called about 12:40 to say that Midnight was under anesthesia and the surgery would start about 13:00. She also mentioned that he had won the entire staff over with his gregarious, outgoing personality! So, we are now just waiting to hear how things went. The surgeon told us that it could take up to 4 hours or even longer, so we are being as patient as we can. More to come. . .
