Thanks guys.
Nope-I don't wanna give him Rimadyl WITH the steroids, Dr. Steve already explained to me that that is not an option. It's either or. And so now we've got 1 full day plus this mornings dose and although he's acting good, eating and being with us, he's not initiating much play as he was while he was on the steroids.
Yes you could be right-maybe the tumor is just growing, pressing...so its hard to tell if switching is going to help but at this point what have I got to lose?
Charlotte K.....your friends dog had bleeding from his nose while on the aspirin? I know that is a symptom of the tumor in the sinuses, but Montana's not had much of that until this, aside from the initial bloody nose that came just prior to the visual bump of the tumor.
Anyway....I am at work now, vet doesn't open until after I get in, so I'll call at 4 when I get out.
Roller coaster this is. I just want my baby to feel good.
He woke me up at 5am this morning with a cold wet nose under my blanket. lol he had just gotten a drink of water I could hear him and he made a beeline right into my room. As i lay under the blankets I smiled because I know he's looking for me & sure enough he moved the blanket with his nose, dripping cold water all across my face. Laughed myself right outta bed.
Anyway, keep the mojo coming please...hoping I an get my hands on more of that dex. & praying it works magic like last week.
