Oh True doesn't have the tell tale lump in the sinus/eye area? That's encouraging as form what I've read it is pretty tell tale...its what first alerted me to Montana's issue.

I've googled a lot, but I'm not sure if I'm really able to read others stories at this moment. Either way, Montana is his own story.

No visible lump at this point. It's possible that there's something further up in his sinus or toward the brain. LPR is typically a secondary condition to a tumor. Fungal infections don't typically bleed. There's no way to know for sure without throwing thousands of dollars at it and we would still be where we are today. Treatment would be the same for any of these conditions.

    And more...

I hear you....have you done x rays ? I did and that's how we knew the bone is involved. Hoping True stays comfy...
Anyway...so now I'm feeling like the Rimidyl is doing well to keep him comfortable however he threw up at some point last night. Came home from work all was good, he ate his dinner, hung around my feet while I got everyone elses dinner...he got a bit of broccoli I usually give him broccoli...went for a walk 1 1/2 miles he lead the whole way-everything was fine. There was no blood or coffee grind-looking stuff in the vomit either-I did check for that to make sure there's no bleeding. Maybe he was gagging on the gross stuff he's got going on in the back of his throat or something. I don't know details because he threw up in the other room & I just didn't hear which is unlike me I hear every sound from my dd & both dogs all through the night. This morning-(before I discovered he'd thrown up) he was asking to eat so I gave him some apple slices with peanut butter. It wasn't yet time for breakfast but I give him the Rimidyl at 6am & 6 pm, so it was time for that & I always try to give him food to coat his belly. I don't know if this actually works or not. Anyway he was picky about the apples maybe because they were cold...but he ate them with the pb. Took his Rimadyl. When breakfast time came he ate 2/3 of his food & slowly. No apparent discomfort chewing, as it seems sometimes, just turned his face away from the bowl. That felt to me like someone just hit me right in the chest, it was upsetting. He did however want some of my cereal like he always does-its Great Grains & although I feed him grainfree for allergies, I've been allowing him a few pieces of the flakes. He ate them, I was happy & had to leave for work. I guess I'll be calling the vet when I get home from work to ask if there's something I can give him to ease his belly...
    This sucks.
And I guess I cant give him the Turmeric either because I've read not to if they are on Rimadyl. Wish I knew if its the Rimadyl bothering his belly. Don't know what I will find when I get home.
