    Update on Ellie

I posted back in June when Ellie was diagnosed with Hemangiosarcoma of her spleen. She also has a tumor on her lungs and heart. I opted to go a holistic route as really surgery was only an option on her spleen. Going the holistic route has been very comforting to me. She has had a great 4 months, still going strong. 4 walks a day, eating good, and good energy. The past week I have noticed a shift in her energy she is sleeping allot allot and eating is not something she is excited to do. I took 2.5 weeks off work because I was just not functioning so well. I was having a very sad day today so I thought I would post. I am so grateful for the past 4 months but it's hard to see her slowing down so much. I am going to go give her some cuddles right now.

You are doing everything that can be done so that Ellie has the best quality of life. This stage is tough. Glad you decided to let it out here, we understand.

Sending hugs to both of you.

Sorry you are going through this ... just keep loving her and trying to keep her as happy and comfortable as you can for as long as you can. You'll know when it is time.

Thanks for all the support. Yesterday was a good day, it's so up and down. She still sleeps quite a bit but is eating good. I am happy for that. Nothing is sadder to me when she won't eat.
