So sorry to hear this. Wish we could do more than say we'll be thinking of you, sharing your grief. Just try to spoil her rotten and make the rest of her days as much fun as you can. Take care. M&M

Thank you all for your thoughts. I did not end up having the heart ultrasound today, after waiting for two hours and a bit of a melt-down by me I decided to not do it today. I called around and I have an appointment with a oncologist Wednesday. I think a second opinion might be good. I have been reading about cancer diets and just trying to stay calm. I know I need to fix my mental state ASAP. I also made an appointment with a grief councilor. Sadly, my friends and family are not feeling very comforting to me right now ( not sure why). I guess they have their own lives with human babies. I am just not up for much. Anyway, I am just rambling. I am happy to have the weekend to lay around with Ellie she loves sitting on the grass we have been doing it all day. Thanks again to everyone who has mentioned they too have been trough this. Those words made me feel less alone.

So very sorry Ellie and you are going through this. Tears are flowing.

Have been through this too many times. What I have learned is even in these short days, they have so much to give. Their love never stops.

We understand what you are feeling, so many of us have been through it.

Sending gentle hugs and holding both of you in my prayers.

Oh my, I know the feeling of a cancer diagnosis - the shock and sadness. And I know the feeling after losing my first dog as an adult, that nothing would ever be right again. For 3 weeks at work, all I could muster up was the bare essentials of conversation to get the job done, nothing more. My heart goes out to you.
