    NutriCal for Dogs?

Sorry for the 2nd thread in one day, thought this would be easier...
Anyone use this? Any success with this?
I am going to try this with Montana, to see if it can help get a few lbs. back on him while he is being picky with eating. HE is so picky that he rarely eats his dog food. Its mostly treats and sour cream, cottage cheese, cheerios, Great Grains cereal with cranberries....weird stuff, french fries...and since he now is feeling better from the infection and his appetite is growing I want to try to get him back on track ...maybe this can help

Never tried it, but if you think he might be willing to try them, we used satin balls (google for recipe) successfully for a while with Jolie when she was being picky towards the end ... eventually she didn’t want those either, but they worked for a time and did put some weight back on her.

thanks-I found the recipe--you feed this raw? uncooked ground beef? Montana gave up cooked ground beef already. Don't think he will go for this but its worth a try.

I've successfully used NutriCal for both dogs and cats...also Dyne by Trophy.

I always have a tube or two (or three!) of Nutrical on hand for whelping litters. Its a good source of calories and energy, with out a lot of volume for my girls when they need a boost during whelping, but aren't ready to eat.

Satin balls are a good idea too, as is cooked pasta, and white bread, with or without a little spread of butter, or peanut butter.
