Nick, one of our old chocolate labs, always did this. We called it his walk-a-poop-a.

Melody was a walking pooper. She could decorate an entire block. She was 10 but not having back end problems. She only did this on walks so I finally had to stop her by not walking further until she finished. Pain having to scoop a long line of poop.

Sophie is all over the place, some days, one stop plop, others, well, she can cover some ground.

Chiming in with my walking pooper. Except with thor, it's only when I have him out off leash on the BLM land behind the house. He gets SO EXCITED to smell everything that I don't think he wants to wait for his poop to be over before moving on to the next sniff.

Dakota is 12 and has been a walk n poop kind of girl her whole life. She actually puts a twist on it-she walks in a circle and poops.

Same for Boomer. He does it when he's distracted by new scents and scooches over to sniff. I think of it as the labby version of multitasking.
