This is Chloe as well. I’ve noticed that the ground covering ones are a bit firmer and take a bit more effort shall we say? I think she gets bored with waiting to finish with those.

Major occasionally does it. He's more of a walk and pee kinda guy. He'll squat a little and start to pee then just walk around and paint the ground. I still think he's trying to write something for me to read as his form of communication. lol

My choc boy did that all his life - i always said it was because he didn't want to miss anything so would try to hurry and poop in the direction everyone else was moving

Yukon does this too and walks and pees sometimes and doesn't lift his leg to pee all the time either. I attribute it to the fact he's almost 10 and he's probably got some weakness and arthritis in his spine and back end (and probably front end too).

Milo will occasionally do the movin poopin too. He stays in a squat but tries to cover as much ground as he can. He'll also do that when he pees, a 3 legged hop n squirt. Kinda funny to watch but not so funny when I have to follow his poop trail with a bag over my hand.

Luna's always been a walker and pooper. She's also a walker and pee-er.

LOL. Jack does that now too. Which makes it fun when trying to pick it up!

I have a Maltese-Poodle that has always done the walkin' poop. I call it his spider walk. He paces frantically back and forth looking for the perfect spot to start and once he squats he maintains the position but he's spider walks all over, looks like a "Billy" map from "The Family Circus" comic strip.
