    "WRECKLAMATION" - November

    Aye Mates,

As promised, posting up the November installation of "WRECKLAMATION" an ongoing photoseries documenting the seasonal changes immediate to a relic 1953 Mack dump body / farm truck.

"WRECKLAMATION" The November installation. Note foliage on treeline in the background has dropped, the golden leaves of the milkweed are gone, as is the goldenrod. We have already had one snow storm resulting in a short lived covering of about 3 inches. Winter is surely on it's way.

    Cheers,
    Irishwhistler

Another season ending, the old Mack aging more. It's amazing how long it has lasted. Made back in the time with things were made to last. Thinking it would be nice if someone reclaimed it and restored it.

No thanks, not ready for snow just yet. Besides, our days are still hitting the high 50s, low 60s. Unusual for here.

    Aye Barry,
Not a high contrast b & w treatment, here is a more washed sepia version of "WRECKLAMATION" I shot today. Twisted minds think alike me Lad.

I like it, the gives it a hopeless feeling, like you know it's hopeless that that truck will ever run again.

I like the sepia aesthetically. In color you can better keep track of the vegetation (and rust.) Great project.
