    Learning something new. Needle felting sculpting!

    Polar bear and cub
    Not perfect but I am working on it.
    This is about my 10th. Most are small. This one the base is 9.5"

    I looked up needle felting, I've probably seen things that are needle felted but I'd never heard of the process before. Plus, I've never seen the loose wool like that sold anywhere. I don't think the yarn shop I sometimes go to has it but maybe I just passed over it because it wasn't what I needed. It sounds like it would take a lot of time and patience. The little animals and things that I saw were so sweet- as are your polar bears. Neat!

    I saw those at a craft show and loved them but when I looked into doing it, what a long time. Yours are very nice. I think it lends itself to the hairy animals best but some others are pretty wonderful too.

    Those are so cute!

    The only place I've seen the supplies were at a yarn and fabric show. Then again, I've not been paying attention at stores. Never tried that, have enough projects half done to start another, LOL.
