    My other 2 pups

Guess I should post a photo of my other two pups. Well not pups anymore.
    So here they are!
I've had them both since they were wee little puppies.

This is Travis, he is a broken coat JRT and he is 12 yrs old.

Then we have Bettylouwho who is 7 yrs old. And she is half JRT and half Chi.

    Both of the little kids

What cuties. Is there really that much of a size difference as the last pic seems to indicate?

As much as I love these two I would NEVER get another JRT or JRT mix lol. They are fun dogs but they are different than any other dog I have ever owned.

For example Travis, he is a sweet loving dog, he just loves baby animals which is odd for a JRT as they are bred to hunt and kill.
But he only tolerates me. If my husband isn't home he won't leave me alone like he is lost. He is a different dog when husband is home. VERY different. Then the dog hates me. I'm not joking. He has tried to bite me on occasion. But he only does this when my husband is home. It's my husbands fault and I know it lol. I know a trainer that trains this breed and he said they can become very alpha like if one lets them, well husband lets him. But I can live with it, I have so for 12 yrs.

Now Betty who is only half JRT loves anyone (Humans) she meets. She hates other animals. She actually kills wild things. She once killed an opossum out in my back yard that was almost 3 times her size. And I have lost count of the rabbits she has killed. She don't like Brian, she don't mess with him much now, but when I first got him she would go out of her way and attack him. She is one of those dogs I found out that is not trust worthy to be around a pup. It isn't a "I'm going to put pup in it's place", it's I'm going to kill you attack. Poor Brian lol.

And that my friends is why I would never have another JRT or mix
My other dog I had, Wilma was nothing like these 2. I don't know what went wrong with these two rotfl. But again I will never have that breed or any other small dog. But that's just me!

awww your other babies are adorable! I have known a couple JRT in my years while they can be very loving they can also be a challenge, as you know.

Ginger is a bit of a challenge for me at times.
