    Finally - the next generation

    After 2yrs of maybe's and not-quite-rights and intermittent bad timing, Saturday afternoon the new pup came home. He's a doll baby, crate trained, already has a real good idea of housetraining (actually asked to go out yesterday!), totally a little pirahna, and such a happy baby.
    Full name is Tullemores Browning Superposed, call name "Trigger" (assuming CKC doesnt decide to reject it). Mom's background is mostly conformation with a bit of performance, Dad is a nice looking guy who competed in and finished the Canadian Master National this year. Mostly MH and SH behind him. Both parents have all clearances. mom was a carrier for PRA, and both boy pups are as well, but the girl was clear. Thats the breeders keep pup, so they were really pleased.
    Pups were born on Remembrance Day, so litter theme was Old School and anything to do with Remembrance day. See thread "how did you name your pup" for his explanation.

    He looks so washed out in that last photo, he's actually a fairly dark chocolate

    Here is an attempted stack after puppy testing at 7 weeks


    He is trying to get Scout to pay attention to him - mostly appropriately - but so far Scout is having none of it!

    They got to go to a rehab vet to try swimming on Saturday afternoon before he came home. They had the other boy and girl in the pool with lifejackets on, and he couldn't wait so he jumped right in and managed to swim across the swim spa to the other side all by himself. They put a lifejacket on him, and he was like "huh?" and wouldnt swim- took it off, and he was a swimming fool, loved it. Here he is after their swimming lesson playing with his sis and bro
