My dog gets very anxious and excited whenever she goes to the vet. I take her there to get her nails trimmed, and they want me to give her trazodone beforehand to calm here down. Does anyone else give their dog this before vet trips? I know they wouldn't give me something that could harm her, but on the other hand I'm not sure how I feel about 'drugging' my dog before going to the vet.
You could try a calming collar. They last about a year if you don't use them every day and put them in a ziploc when not in use.
