    Eggs!

Our chickens are almost six months old and all but one are now laying as of this week. Look at this pretty rainbow! Brushing up on egg recipes now, we're getting 4-5 a day!

I'd love to have chickens! But living in town with a city lot I didn't want to take up "dog space" for a coop. I love the spiral!

The spiral is so cool! It's called an egg skelter. Fresh unwashed eggs can stay unrefrigerated for up to a month and this little device helps track age - eat from bottom, add new ones to the top.

As far as chicken pictures - how about my rooster, Pickles, on Thor's back? They are buddies after working out some issues.

That's amazing Thor will let Pickles stand on his back. I would think his claws would stick Thor and he would he afraid.

Very neat, another person that likes the "eggs skelter." I've never heard of one. We get eggs from one of Andrew's coworkers. Might need to track one down.

Beautiful! And I love the egg skelter! I'm glad you told us it's proper name--I was going to call it an egg dispenser! My daughter has a few chickens, & when I visit, she sends me home with some of her lovely eggs.....
