My 13 year old Bella has been using a "Big Barker" orthopedic dog bed for a few months now, and I highly recommend it. Arthritis in her knees has been getting to the point that meds are not relieving her discomfort. I have seen some mobility improve since using the bed. This is a bed made specifically for larger dogs, and is guaranteed to retain 90% of it's support for 10 years. Best made bed I have found, made in America, and designed by a young man with a 100 pound dog with hip displasia.

Looks like a nice one. And I really liked clicking on something called "Forbidden".
I have no idea why the link came up like that. Glad it works though.
We just got the big barker a few weeks ago for Remy. I feel bad that we didn't have this before. There is no going back to stuffed beds in this house. They are very supportive! Since Remy is not allowed on furniture right now due to being on bed rest after surgery. I am wonder once he is cleared to jump, will he use the beds or his favorite recliner? The only pro the recliner has over the bed is he can see out the window, so it might be a tough choice.
