    poor gauge

This morning I go to feed him, he eats in my room bc he's food aggressive with other dogs. He sits and waits for me to put it down and I say ok and start walking away and he's just sitting there. Im like what's the matter of course immediate panic set in bc of his surgery. He's drooling buckets I'm like ok you can eat he dove right in. I guess he didn't here me say it the first time bc I said it really fast while walking out he was just doing what he was taught.

He's a little whiny today he just had his meds so hopefully he will be comfortable soon.

Little devil, he's playing you. LOL, no, he probably didn't hear you. If he dove in that's good, can't be much hold over on the meds if he's ravenous. He's fine.

Good to hear Gauge's already as hungry as a lab should be - good sign

Anesthesia and Meds could be fogging his mind a bit so didn't hear you clearly. Poor baby. Glad to hear he's got his appetite and hoping his mind is cleared soon and on a quick mend. Can't blame him for being a bit whiny. But it will be a thing of the past real soon.

Sounds like he healing very well. Maybe his labs selective hearing backfired on him.

Poor guy! Maxx whined for the first day or so, it broke my heart. The 2nd day after surgery he acted like nothing had happened. He was not a happy camper with 10 days of restrictions. I hope Gauge is feeling better soon and is a good patient for you.

He's feeling fine keeping him quiet is next to impossible. He's going to be sad that is week the neighbors fence (fingers crossed) is finally supposed to go up tomorrow it kept getting pushed back. He will have to be leashed walk until stitches come out.
