I was walking around the garden and out she comes from around the corner with something in her mouth. I got all freaked out lol. She was walking like a tigress with her kill... Poor bird and poor me ill have to go find where she took it . I really hope she does not bring me her prize.

We hate that Joey catches birds. But I guess they are what kept him alive before he ended up in our yard. I have to keep reminding the OH, "Don't yell at him. Don't scare him." As long as we don't frighten Joey when he has a bird we are able to save some of them. Ditto the chipmunks. Sadly, chippies seem to have very little sense of self preservation.

My cats stay inside but our neighbors cat has been known to leave me little gifts from time to time. I am just glad she leaves them out in the yard a friend of ours would find gifts her cat left on their porch mat, they had to be careful every morning going outside.
