Potty Training is over, Cleaning Carpets!

Bacon is 100% potty trained. At almost 10 months, he hasnt had an accident in over 5 months, and I have complete trust in him. Am I jumping at the gun to quickly by wanting to clean the carpets?? Should I wait longer? And what cleaner should I put in my machine? I was thinking of doing the carpet cleaning machine solution that natures miracle makes.

I have a Hoover Steam Cleaner and love it. It really does the job. You can also rent a machine if you don't want to buy. I use the recommended Hoover solution to keep the warranty in force. Did find that Bandit had reactions to the solution so I would clean and then immediately do it again with clear water. Solved the problem.

I don't think you are jumping the gun at all. Of course with dogs and carpet there is always the chance of an accident. The Natures Miracle carpet cleaner sounds great, especially if there are any odors or were lots of accidents. I have always rinsed carpets after cleaning as well. I never liked the thought of possible reactions to the chemicals and hoped it would lessen any reaction that may happen.

That's great!!! Congratulations! Although you can never be 100% sure, I believe that it's about time to make the carpets as good as new again
