    Fast & Fur-ious: A Concept Dog-Friendly SUV

Has anyone heard of the Nissan Rogue Dogue (concept) SUV? Ran across this video today as I was looking up car-dog accessories. I wonder if Nissan will really add this to their lineup. I mean, honestly, it has a built-in bath hose/tank, dryer, extending ramp...

ETA: I borrowed the title from an online write up about the car.

I like the stow-away ramp....looks a bit narrow, though, for the average dog's preference.

I saw an ad for something similar, I don't know if it's out on the market.

I expected the ad to end with a shot of the guy with the St. Bernard at a dealership.

The only problem I've found with these cars is the size of the door in the back. Most of the SUVs seem to slant some in the back while having a little high head room inside. This makes it difficult to get a larger crate in, one that will fit inside but won't go through the opening. I prefer Archie ride in a crate. Yes, I can get a larger crate in if I want to climb in and assemble it in the back; not an easy task. Had to go down a size which makes a snug fit for him which is OK for around the area trips. Longer ones would require the "in the car" crate assembly.

interesting. I think that dog wash thing was on dragon's den/shark tank awhile back. The dog area seems pretty small and you lose a lot of space for storage. And the ladder DOES look very narrow for a larger dog.

I can't see why they can't offer all that stuff as accessories in the regular rogue.
