Going To School Does Pays Off

DH finished a course in low pressure boilers in early May. His employer is being a butt about reimbursing him for the course but oh well. Wednesday he found out he was advanced to the next higher pay grade which included a $3 an hour increase. All those hours in class, the long drive, and having to work all night after class really paid off.

He's almost finished HVAC course. Again, he works on them but wants the certification. Starting in September, he starts another course in high pressure boilers. Asked him if he was going to turn into a professional student, LOL.

That's great, can't beat that with a stick. I took HVAC with two of my sons years ago but the plant went into outage and I went on 12 hr work days. So goes the maintenance life. Had to drop out. They finnished.

Your husband can only go up and up with the more certs and degrees.

    Good for him!!! Congrats!!
It really does pay to learn as much as you can about your trade. And when you can prove it with a cert, it REALLY pays.
