    "Fall Foliage"

    Aye Mates,
As a visual artist with a passion for the natural world, I continuously seek interesting forms, colors, and textures as subject material for me artworks. For those that take time to look deeper than most, these elements exist all around us. This singular wild grape leaf caught me attention and me own innate creativity called me to alter it photographically to capture the interest of those that view it. I hope ye find the piece pleasing to your eyes.

    Slainte’,

    Beautiful.

Unfortunately, with it being so dry here, our season of color is not going to be too great. Will make me look harder for the hidden treasures.

I learned a lot living in Japan. It's not the way a lot of folks think of the country. They find beauty in tiny things, little vignettes - a single flower in a simple vase, a single branch of bamboo with its thin leaves, a single koi under a lily pad. It took time to learn not to look but to see.
