    "In Winter's Grip" - A photograph.

    Aye Mates,
Like many of ye, I find meself hunkered down and weathering a brisk winter storm packing high winds, continual snow and frigid temperatures. Me hopes and prayers are that severe injury, loss o' life and property will be minimal beyond expectations.

Taking some time to do some editing and posting o' recent photographs captured and currently relative. As I photographed this stunning old barn, I could not help but wonder how many brutal winter storms she has weathered, each one lending added beauty to her exterior.

    Comments and critique always welcomed.

Same wishes from MA Mike! Things are finally winding down with the snow here but the winds are still very strong at about 40 mph. Just finished with the snow blower. I think I snow blow a bigger area for Cassie than my car and truck. Everyone stay safe and hope the power holds!

Lovely. That barn looks to be in pretty good shape. Do you know if it is still used? It's so sad to see barns falling apart. My Grandfather's barns were demolished when new people bought the farm. The house mysteriously burned down too.

I'm not sure exactly why I find old farm buildings so appealing....Great pic!
