    Snowy Owl

The plant manager saw a snowy owl perched on one of our buildings and called us out to look. By the time we got out there it had moved to a building next door. It stayed long enough for us to creep to within about 30 or 40 meters. First one I have seen since the winter of 2014-2015.

Lucky, lucky you. It's in green because I'm jealous. I thought they'd all gone back north, must keep looking.

That's pretty special. I have never seen an owl in my entire life.

My friend installed a cheap trail camera in his backyard and at his cottage and was surprised how much wildlife was wandering around. Even his house in a city he said there was skunks, racoon and tons of cats coming and going throughout the day an night.
    Thanks Everyone!!

Beautiful! We saw one perched on farmer's post-pole last year. I stop the car and just sat there watching it in amazement.

Mollysmomma, it is a beautiful bird.

    Fran, indeed!

Snowshoe, I was surprised; there have been few sightings in our part of the province this year.

Woody, sometimes a Screech owl visits our back yard. Though I've never seen it the call is unmistakable. And I had to move to Canada to see my first Bald Eagle.

Black Labbies, they seem to be remarkably tolerant of human presence.
