    We did it, rescued another

    Sunday we rescued the Shih Tzu I posted a few days ago. I skipped out to Scout Camp with my younger son so dear wife was leading the pack while I was gone. Seems like the pups are settling in.

    Scarlett has a few grouchy moments but nothing big.

    Lizzy, the Shih Tzu, needs a few teeth pulled as she had poor to no dental care. We have that scheduled for next week. No clue on her age, Vet guessed 6-10 years. Given the poor teeth she could be closer to 10, or could have had poor nutrition leading to poor teeth.

    She has been getting more lively as she settles in.

    Hi Ken, are you sure that's a shitzu, it looks more like a terrier mix to me than a shitzu. I'd say just by looking at her she looks around 7. She's a cutie

    Bless you for giving Lizzy the home she always deserved. She's going to be stunning once she gets her bath and pampered like I know you will do.

    Our Archie was only 5 with the worse teeth I've ever seen, or smelled so Lizzy may not be as old as you think. And if she's anything like Archie, once those bad teeth are taken care of, her personality will really bloom. Nothing makes you feel worse than a tooth ache.

    I don't see shit tzu either but she sure is cute! Thanks for rescuing her. I would guess that she's on the lower end of 6-10.

    Honestly I don't care what the breed is. DW thinks she is cute and always wanted a Shih Tzu. Happy wife means happy family

    Each dog we adopt is older. I think I am getting hooked on older dog rescues.

    Groom is scheduled for tomorrow. She had clumps of poop stuck in her fur that I clipped out as soon as we got her home. Sad that Animal Control did not clean her up.
