    Opie's all PACKED

We got out Opie's back pack today for vacation. We got food packed, good boy cookies, and a collapsable bowl. He also will be shooting video this trip, (he's a videoDOGrapher), so we packed his harness and GoPro and last but not least, his bedroll. We keep a leash in the truck already, his tags are on his collar. Opie's all excited.

Can anybody think of anything else?

Looks good! I also packed water from home in jugs for our camping trip for bacon. I know Opie will have a blast!

Opie's ready for traveling. Only thing I can think of is water in a small contained for a hike. Otherwise, I know you have water in the camper.

Oh we're not taking the camper this time, we have a pet friendly route worked out with hotel reservations.

Nice. Opie gets to live in the lap of luxury and not ruff it.

I always bring a spare collar and leash with me just in case. Then lots of poop bags as the hotels have small lawns and they want you to pick up. Also I always bring a toy and a antler. You never know when they are going to want to shake it, chew on it. It adds some comforts of home.

My family thinks I am paranoid but I keep prior years license & rabies tags on a spare collar. I figure if we lose a collar having prior years tags will look better if the dog is lost. Yes, paranoia.

Oh yeah this reminds me of another. I always keep a copy of Hemi's Health Record, you know the one certified by the vet shows the current shots and stuff. I keep a copy in the glove box and the RV. Sometimes places want a copy before admitting the dog. Just to make sure he is up on his shots. I am guessing with all the traveling you do with Opie as well you have this somewhere. I don't go out of my way to carry it with me since I have it in the glove box all the time.

I always have my vets numbers and an Emergency vet number for the new area when I travel with Macy.
Have a great trip with Opie.
