Great to hear! I've also heard of them pulling pitbulls out of death row and training them to be detection dogs.
Fran was supposed to be one of those! Her allergies were just too awful but she has all of the characteristics and the drive. We fostered a GSD who went to a sheriff's department. They tend to be the high energy, high drive dogs that people don't like as family dogs. It's great that there's a group that specializes in training them.
That's a lot better than putting them down!!! Great vid!!
That's so awesome!
I love this!

it's great when you can give them a job and save their life!
A fellow rescue here had one of their dogs taken in and pass the police k9 test (and become a police dog!).
The border agency often works with rescues and comes to assess a few dogs that fit their requirement. More and more agencies and groups are working with rescue dogs, it's great.
