I wouldn't be overly concerned. Mango seeds are quite large, but Labradors don't have chihuahua sized digestive tracts either.
i would just keep an eye on him. If he starts vomiting or doesn't have a bowel movement - I'd worry then.
My dog ate a mango seed a few minutes ago and I'm now very worried. It is my fault and I hope my dog won't be punished for it. He is about 3 years old and he most probably swallowed the whole seed. I called the emergency vet and they told me to keep an eye on his bowel movements tomorrow. I asked if I could bring him for an x-ray right away, but they asked to wait. They also asked me not to try any home remedies to make him puke.
I'm not sure if he will be able to digest it. I hope he can pass it through.
I'm planning to take him to the vet tomorrow. Is there something that I can ask the vet? Worst case can it be removed by surgery? I just don't want to lose him as he is our only child.

+1 on just monitor him. and yes it could be removed via surgery but hopefully he just passes it! I've heard of bigger things being passed.
Sending good thoughts your way!

Welcome to the board, agreed with the above. Mangoseeds shouldn’t post a problem for a lab, just monitor him and makesure he has regilar bowel movements. I doubt you’llnotice the seed passing.

Happy to report that he puked it out this afternoon. What was surprising was the fact that he selectively puked just the seed. The breakfast did not come out. During the morning walk he ate a lot of grass and the seed was covered with grass. It is as if he ate grass to form a net and fish the seed out. Feeling much better now.
Thank you all for your replies and support. Will be careful from now on.
Hello and welcome! Glad he managed to puke it out.
Hello and Welcome!
So glad he puked it out.
Looking forward to pictures.
Isn't it funny how they can selectively puke things up? So happy for the happy ending (despite your needing to clean it up!).
I swear sometimes Labs are part of the billy goat family! Glad it came up ok!!!
Hi and welcome! Glad to hear there were no complications and you're safe
