    Earthquake!

There was a 3.2 magnitude earthquake about 30 miles from Richmond last night. Hubby and I were watching TV when the whole house started shaking. At first it sounded like thunder, but then it kept going. It lasted about a minute. Molly was passed out in her bed, and never even budged!

As of this morning, there haven't been any reports of damage.

Odd she never responded. Pets are usually more sensitive to them and know they are coming before we do. When I was a kid, my mom and I were sitting watching tv and my dog came running into the room, all worried, pacing and panting. We were like whats wrong? Then the quake hit. A small one, but heck we lived in Indiana at the time. There were no earthquakes. We went outside looking to see if a tree or car or something hit the house.

Aren't they awkward? Kain was passed out the few times we've had them.

We had an earthquake a couple of years ago that woke me up in the middle of the night. I got up and went to the living room and heard my dad's birds panic in the cage. Cookie on the other hand was fast asleep.

In Cali they are a regular thing and our dogs went psycho just before most of the time. I guess they can feel the tension/vibrations before us.

Always scary. There's a huge fault deep under NYC. I could be wrong but I think that's where most of the earthquake activity on the east coast comes from.
