    Excludes dog.

One of the items featured in our weekly TSC flyer is a wet pet mat. You put it on the floor just inside the door and it's supposed to slurp up water, snow, slush, and so on. The image depicts a dog (a Brittany?) sitting on the mat. A bullet point advises, 'Excludes dog'

    Awww c'mon, include the dog.

Really? I want one. Of each. A mat and a Brittany.

    They'd definitely sell more!

I have one of those and it does work well!

janedoe, hmm. While a Brittany wouldn't be my choice, perhaps I need to broaden my horizons. Why would you like one?

Barry, maybe I need to add it to Faye's shopping list for tomorrow.

I used to sit for a spaniel when I was a teenager. She was really great. Friendly, curious and active, kind of obsessively so. It's just a memory thing.

Can only imagine the people thinking that the dog is included. DUH!

Mom had a cocker who was taught to lay on a mat just inside the door that had a small heater vent near. She would come in with snowballs stuck in her fur.

janedoe, this reminds me that years ago I sat two very senior Brittanys for three weeks. They were good dogs, perhaps because they were so old. Other Brittanys I've known have been higher energy than I would prefer to take on.

Fran, I agree! Really, could someone be that dense? I wonder if TSC's lawyer made them stick that in.

Some one has found a Brittany near Ayton. At least it looks like a Brit to me, in the photo they managed to get. They haven't caught it yet and no one seems to be looking for one. I know, a bit off topic, sorry, but it's been sleeping in the finder's woodshed for a week.

My wife might want one of those for me. She is always complaining about me slopping snow and dirt on the floors during the winter time.
    Thanks Everyone!!
