    Release word

What does everyone use as a release word to let your dog know they are done working?

I use "ok" to release from a command (ex: sit - stay…"ok" means they can get out of the stay). When we are doing a training session of a few minutes then I use "all done" and some good petting to signify "done the training session")

    FREE

And I sometimes also give a little jump in the air myself, with both hands shooting up over my head. This way I can release from a distance. If Oban is near me when I jump he jumps up too and is allowed to jump on me. Lots of times he just jumps too, without touching me. Our obedience and rally trainer both said they like to see this and it is allowed just as we exit the ring from a trial, or in the ring during training. They told me it's a great reward to conclude an exercise since most Labs love to jump on people anyway.

    I use FREE as well.

Our trainer shyed us away from using OKAY since it comes up in often in everyday convo, which is something to take into consideration.
