Hi everyone!
This is my first time here, I have a 23-month-old Fox Red Lab mix named Harbour. She is the absolute love of my life
I think I attached a photo.. but I have no idea how to use this thing!
I got Harbour from the Chippewa County Animal Control Shelter in Sault Ste Marie, MI.
I was lucky enough to get pick-of-the-litter when she was born, as I had been volunteering with the shelter when she was born.
I took her home when she was 8 weeks old, I also took one of her brothers to foster, to help ease their transition away from mom.
Raising my little girl has been the most rewarding experience of my entire life. I never knew how badly I needed her until the day I took her home.
Harbour has a few health problems that we are working through. She has a congenital heart defect, a severe form of early onset hip dysplasia, and an allergy to wheat and fleas.
Despite these problems, and the massive vet bills that accompany them, I wouldn't trade her for the world
I treat her like gold, and in return I have a best friend for the rest of her days. I know that she will not live as long as she should because of her health problems, but I am going to make what years she does have the best they could possibly be!

Hi, welcome and thank you for rescuing the sweet lab girl. I know that they're real life savers, really easy to fall for, and in spite of all her health problems she can hopefully be here a lot longer than you might think, leading a long and happy life. Paws and fingers crossed for both of you. M&M
