    This Morning's Conversation

Me: What are you planning to do today?

DH: Thought I would till the back garden while you go to the Home Depot to pick up some soil and peat moss.

Me: Ah, I'd rather be here while you till. I've not pulled all the plants and bulbs yet.

    DH: OK.

Me: I have an idea! Why don't we paint your bathroom?

    DH: Huh?

    Me: Where are you going?

    DH: Upstairs to hide.

sooooo, which was it? the tilling or the painting? and why is it that most men would do almost anything else (tilling the garden?!?) than paint?

Decided to take out one of the two lilac bushes in that garden so DD dug that out this morning along with a bucket full of bulbs. That particular lilac was very leggy, few blooms, looked horrible. He has to work tonight so I nixed the tilling till his next days off. Nope, no painting either. Guess that's up to me to do after he leaves in the evening which means painting after 9 pm. UGH!

hmm, maybe you should switch to the night shift for a few days (nights?!?) to do the painting? and then catch up on your zzz's when he is sleeping too?
