My sister's lab has spleen cancer.

Please send good thoughts for my sister. Her ten year old has spleen cancer. They removed the tumor but it was malignant and has now spread extensively after four months. She's torn about doing anything further given the aggressive nature of the cancer. I told her that I wouldn't take any more steps if it was one of mine but that she would know what was best.

    Thanks.

So sad. I guess this kind of cancer is not uncommon in Labs. My heart goes out to her.

So very sorry for your sister. Sounds like with the type of cancer it is, further surgical intervention would just put the dog through pain without much hope of a cure.

    Please pass along my prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear this. Cancer sucks! Prayers for your sister to know what is best for her baby and that she feels comfortable in her decisions. My heart aches for all of you.
