    Good Bye James Garner

His career has spanned so many years, TV and movies, that many generations will remember him and miss him.

Thanks for all the great memories.

We were big Rockford Files fans also. Maybe I should see if there is a boxed set of DVDs to get my husband for his upcoming birthday...

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

Great guy-- He was in one of my all-time favorite movies (The Great Escape)--Got purple heart in Korea and he was married to the same lady for more than 50 years, that's unusual in Hollywood.

He was always cool. I loved watching Maverick when I was a kid, & dh's favorite show was Rockford Files. I loved Murphy's Romance, too! Thank you, James Garner, for all the entertainment you gave all of us for so many years.....
