Mocha and the Birdie

We were cleaning up after our 4th of July party and noticed one of the badminton birdies was in the cooler, so I put in in the middle of the dining room table to put with the game later. Well, a few minutes later, it was gone. We looked in every room under everything for about 15 minutes or so. Figuring it was lost, we sat down to watch TV. A few minutes later, DH says "Honey, look". There was the white part sitting next to Mocha's mouth! "Where's the red part?" I asked. I went to touch is head he turned away from me, a sure sign of guilt. "MOCHA DDRROOPP!" And he spit out the red part! He had been holding it in his mouth the whole time! Probably 20 minutes or more. It only had one or two tooth marks on it.

It's funny but so irritating! Don't know how to not make this fun for him or how to stop the game for him. We put things away, but you all know that in a completely empty room, a lab will find something. Socks are still his favorite.

Ha! At least he dropped it. Zoey is always carrying around random crap. She isnt a swallower or chewer so im never concerned but why the tv remotes! My corgi digs in the dirty clothes hamper and hides stuff under the bed
