How often do you have to vacuum to stay ahead of the formation of dog hair tumbleweeds?

I’m currently vacuuming the kitchen and living room every day, but I also have two cats.

Do you ever get a great sense of satisfaction when you’re vacuuming and one of the tumbleweeds lightly blows away and then you say in the voice of the bad witch “I’ll get you my pretty” and then you suck it up?

I can't get ahead at all. As soon as I am done and put the vacuum away, 5 more dust monsters appear....

We vacuum twice a day and still find those yellow hairs everywhere. Even in parts of the house he's not allowed and has never been in.

I should be vacuuming everyday but it usually ends up being every other day and the black hair on the carpet is enough to cover a small dog!

I personally find it amazing that Thea is not allowed and has never been in the Chrysler or the Genesis and we still find her hair in there. Gee whiz!

Right now, with only one shedding animal, we can get a way with once a week. During June and December, way more vacuuming as that's when she blows her coat. The Shit tzu doesn't shed. He just drags in a lot debris from outside. You never know what you might find in his hair. Last night, it was a GIANT tick attached to his forehead. Grrrr.

Do you ever wonder how you can keep vacuuming up so much hair, and they still don't need a toupee?

When he sheds, every day. When he "doesn't", twice a week.

To keep ahead of them, I'd say every 5 minutes. Our rugs are all dark and you can't see hair on them usually. The kitchen gets swept daily.

Daily here but it is never enough! I no longer care as much as I did when I was younger. It is what it is, lol! I would much rather have my dogs than a dog fur free home, furniture, clothes, cars and yes even food!
