    The joy of peanut butter

I seen this today and it made me smile and even laugh a little. So many times I have said to Hemi, would you like some peanut butter. He will instantly stop what ever he is doing, lick his lips, and stare me right in the eye, "You better not be messing with me"

That's cute. Maybe we should compile our own Lab Board version?

By the way, lots of cats like peanut butter too. One of ours used to get a little daub each morning and then he'd clean his tongue by licking the door frame.

So cute! Not peanut butter, but I put a dallop of whipped cream on the dogs noses a few days ago. The link reminded me of their reactions.

Really cute! I must confess, I have 2 that will turn themselves inside out for peanut butter. Just the jar causes leaping and jumping.

I can call my dogs in from the yard by asking if they want some peanut butter. That's a super high value treat around here! It's hard to decide who gets the empty peanut better jar now that I have 2. Usually Lark gets to start out with it but she's still pretty dainty with her attempts. Since Chase is such an experienced and accomplished jar cleaner, there is always plenty left for him.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

    Too cute! Thanks for sharing.

It's a shame it's not feasible to use PB for training treats.

We give Mocha the emptied peanut jar for and it keeps him busy for 20 to 30 minutes. He cannot reach the bottom of the jar but it is fun to watch him, chase, hold and prop the jar to get all the peanut butter goodness!!!!

Haha. Those were cute. Of course, both of mine love peanut butter, too. It works to get pills down Jessie. She clamps her jaw so hard I can't get it open. Unless I put some peanut butter on it, stick it to a small dog biscuit, and wave it in front of her face.

Best peanut butter eater was my late Sandy. One year, the DH thought he'd put up this bungee cord like contraption with an ear of corn hanging from a tree for the squirrels. To entice them (so he thought), he smeared the ear of corn with peanut butter. Haha, silly him. When I let Sandy out later, she practically flew over to the tree, and licked all the peanut butter off that corn cob. All the while hanging on to the cord with her paws so it didn't swing around.

Choosy Moms choose Jiff. Although I don't think Mocha cares about the brand name
