Took one of those fun quizzes, How Canadian Are You? One of the questions was about a "house hippo". What the heck is that?
Oh, apparently I'm 30% Canadian.
It was in a commercial! They used it to show that it's easy to make something seem real - even a mini hippo that lives in houses. Supposed to encourage critical thinking. Thanks for reminding me. That little house hippo was cute!

Here's one. I saw a UHaul the other day. They usually show pictures of some kind of natural or man made thing associated with a particular area along with the name of the state or province. So for Arizona they would put a picture of the Grand Canyon and for St Louis they would have a picture of the arch.
This UHaul had Manitoba on the side and a picture of a whole bunch of snakes. What's that about?

No idea on the hippo or snakes, at least not before I read the answers here. But, did it mention the Ontario elephant?
