What's your lab's very favorite thing to retrieve?

For Kimber, it's frisbees. She likes to retrieve tennis balls and if prompted she'll bring just about anything to me, but there's something about the way a frisbee hangs in the air that just really gets her going.

Chuck it balls, tennsi balls, bumpers, frisbees that I toss low and base balls. Maxx and Emma love balls, they are not picky what kind. Soccer and footballs are 2 favorites to "kick" around and the jolly ball is an absolute favorite!

Tennis balls, Frisbees & her stuffed froggie. She has a laundry basket full of toys & a 10 gallon pail full of balls & Frisbees that she has stolen off the beach. Heaven help the unfortunate dog or child that leaves one of these on the beach, we can't get them out of her mouth for the life of us. Finders keepers.

Balls of almost any kind, big or small. But that Jolly ball just sits there; I don't think Sam counts it as a ball.

Sam loves to play fetch with the Chuck-it. He seems to really like the rubber chuck-it ball called the Whistler.

The chuck-it football. It's fun to punt in the air and see him follow it to the ground. He never knows what way it's going to bounce.

They all love sticks and the orange bumpers but Maddie loves her Kong Frisbee, she'll carry that thing all over.

Lark likes an orange bumper and she will bring it back. A few years ago I bought these small tub/pool kids toys that are soft, in the shapes of a pirate, parrot and first mate. Those are Chase's all time favorites and he'll swim out to get them or run down the beach to get them, but retrieve? I guess that depends upon your definition. When he finds himself in the same room with the beach bag and sticks his nose in to inspect, the pirate just sends him over the edge.

“Because of the dog's joyfulness, our own is increased. It is no small gift. It is not the least reason why we should honor as well as love the dog of our own life, and the dog down the street, and all the dogs not yet born. What would the world be like without music or rivers or the green and tender grass? What would this world be like without dogs?”

Chula is a ball nut, her favorite is the orange-blue chuck it but she loves Frisbee too. Ginger loves bumpers, and Jax well he's happy with a stick.
