    Maverick 16 weeks

Maverick turned 16 weeks old today. He weighs 31.8 pounds. Not as much as I thought, but there was an incident a few days back where my husband decided it was a great idea to feed Maverick some wasabi ginger chips. Needless to say there were frequent trips outside and no food the next day. To celebrate Maverick's 16 week birthday I only worked until 10:30. We went shopping for a no pull harness at the recommendation of our trainer. We also got some treats and a new toy. Maverick's favorite part was meeting all the people, obviously. I also took the opportunity to make some treats for both dogs.

    Sounds like a great day.

Would you share the recipe for the cinnamon bun bites?

    Cinnamon Bun Bites
Celebrate National Dog Day with homemade dog treats.

I did not add nuts and for the drizzle I did a little honey because I forgot to buy cream cheese. I also used vegetable oil instead of canola and I used milk instead of water.

I skipped the soy flour. I never heard of it and couldn't find it. I doubled the whole wheat flour instead. When I went to roll the dough it was extremely crumbly so I added a little honey to it to make it stickier and more malleable.

Yeah they had to bring older (bigger) dogs to puppy class to play with him. We were invited to go to a level 3 puppy class to play with puppies that are around 8-12 months old.
