Bacon was on a different brand when he was a puppy, but he switched over to Fromm 4 star gran free (all life stages) at 8 months.
We are considering switching from Earthborn to Fromm.
Fromm recommends feeding the Gold Puppy formula for a little over a year old.
Question is: When did you switch over to Fromm Adult formula's?
Thank you!

With older dogs, I've never used the Fromm puppy good. What I can say, since switching to Fromm for Archie and Mardi, I am very happy. I rotate between 4 varieties, using each one for about 2 months and am loving the results.
if i were to feed puppy food, i'd probably switch at about 7 months old. but that's me.
The Fromm Gold puppy food is actually a good all life stage food, if you wanted to keep feeding it. I switched Lily to the Gold puppy from what her breeder fed her (Eukanuba) around 7 months of age and kept her on it until she was around 16-18 months old. Then I switched her to the Four Star grain inclusive line for a few months and she's been eating the grain free since then.
I will probably keep Bruce on the puppy until he's a year old, then switch him to the 4 Star rotation I have Sophie on.
If I had continued to feed kibble, I would've probably fed Creek the puppy version indefinitely - less carbs, and no potatoes.
The ingredients and guaranteed analysis (27/18 protein/fat) in Fromm Puppy Gold are very suitable for adult dogs as well as puppies. If my puppy were eating this formula and doing well on it, I would see no nutritional reason to make a change.
Any company could easily remove the word "puppy" from the Fromm Puppy Gold food and successfully market it as an adult or all life stages formula. If my Luna didn't have a chicken intolerance I would have tried this formula long ago. For dogs that don't have issues with grains, I actually think it is a better formula than a number of Fromm grain-frees that rely on so much peas and pea protein.
I switched Gabby to Fromm when she was just under a year old. She'll be 3 in September and have rotated Gold - large breed puppy, adult, and large breed adult. Also threw in the 4 Star duck & sweet potato for more variety. She's currently wolfing down Gold large breed adult, but I'm going to try the chicken a la veg next time for something different. Her coat is pretty amazing on the Fromm - shiny (for a yellow girl) and thick.
