    The painters are at work!!

Doing a great job and really moving along. Now I just need three basement windows and one attic window replaced and half of the exterior will be finished! We are very excited. But when they start ripping the siding off the other half next year, I'm pretty sure my husband is going to move out . . .

Isn't it exciting! We are getting the rest of our windows replaced next month, 8 in total. Had the others done a while back. Had to break up doing it as they are so expensive. First time had two bay windows and a garden window installed.

Wow. Bay windows must be ridiculously expensive. We're not even touching our picture windows with a ten foot pole.

It sounds like both your homes are going to be lovely when they are complete. It is the workmen around that used to drive me crazy!

I actually hired a pest control company. They came out last Friday and said they killed about 90% but the painter still got stung today. They turned out to be yellow jackets and hornets.

It really is coming around. Everyone comments on the quality of the materials and the workmanship. They used to tell me to tear it down but now they say that it will be beautiful and it's worth saving. MIL would have been proud.

Same here. There's nothing like having your bathrobe on and surprise! There's some guy in the window.
