    Nature's Variety Instinct Raw

Does anyone feed this? I have no idea how to really "interpret" raw foods (I feel somewhat competent with kibble but this is out of my knowledge zone)?

We got that for Oban about three months ago when he was so badly off with IBD. When we started with the holistic Vet she was not in favour of him going raw in the midst of such severe digestive problems so we are just starting to introduce it now. For us it is intended to be an intermediary step to true raw. My usage is brand new and I'm new to raw so the only helpful thing I can tell you is Oban likes it and so do all the cats. It's not cheap, I hope true raw is less costly.

I've bought it. I didn't have a problem with it. I do like that it is easy to find (Petco carries it) but I really prefer Primal. The lady who does pet food reviews (her name escapes me) rates Primal in her top choices for 2014. I did Primal frozen for a while but it was taking up too much freezer space and have since moved to Primal freeze dried (which I can get for WAY less money from Chewy).
