    New to the Lab world

My fiance and I just bought, and moved into our first house with our two cats. Today, while walking through pet-smart we found an adorable adoptable lab mix (or so we're told). We just couldn't get him out of our mind so we went back and adopted him. He already "sits", "lays", and will get into his bed on command. Leash and housebroken. Very good dog so far, I am very impressed.

The rescue group we adopted from (Another Chance for Animals) told us he is about one year old, and is a lab mixed with what they believe to be a GSD. What do you all think? Obviously I will only get "best guesses" but it is what it is.

Thanks for the input, and can't wait to read and learn about these amazing dogs!!!

    Hello and Welcome!

We have one of each, lab and GSD. Hard to tell what mix he is but he sure is a cutie.

    What have you named him?

He came with the name Bowser, and since we always argue over naming animals we decided to just stick with it. He responds well to it, so we decided it would work!

Good looking pup, too hard to tell maybe get some pictures of him outside standing.
Think I see some black mouth cur in there.
Please tell me(us) you don't keep that type collar on him all the time?
