    Sam's Gotcha Day

    Two years ago yesterday, I brought Sam home. He was so different from other dogs I'd had that I wondered how it would all work out. He's an integral part of my life now. He's still a goof but he's a happy goof now. Sam thought I got him a budgie for his Gotcha Day when he saw it at the bird feeder (he takes his bird and squirrel chasing very seriously in the yard but knows to leave the indoor birds alone).
