New and looking forward to learning all I can about Labradors.

    Hello,

My name is Lori. I am here to learn all I can about the breed and training. We want to add a Lab to our family but our taking our time to learn all we can. I want to make sure our pet comes from a reputable breeder with health guarantees. We have a 10 year old Golden Retriever named Cody. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and learning here on the forum.

Hello and welcome to you and Cody! A Lab and this Forum are both very good choices - a wonderful breed and a site with a lot of knowledgable people who know all there's to know about dogs and Labs in particular. There's also a lot of information you can find using the search tool and reading some of the older threads. Real shame that before the forum crash in May there was a lot, lot more, but everything got lost. Good luck with finding all the answers you need M&M

    Hello and Welcome!

KUDOS to you for doing the research. Of course, I feel labs are the best of the best. If you're thinking about a puppy, read the posts in the puppy section and the training sections will give you a lot of info.

    Hello and welcome!

Labs are awesome as everyone here will attest to but as puppies, they are a lot of work. Good on you for doing your research!

Welcome, as puppies they're a handful, we've got an 11 mo old chocolate boy whom we love but oh my! We lost 2 13 yo girls, the yellow and the collie and got this guy in May. You forget how much work it is if you want a well behaved dog good on you for doing your homework.
